"Tremestieri Bus" is the new service is in operation, is expected before Christmas. The Tremestieri just bought - in leasing - a bus "Iveco" from 26 seats to 80 000 € (to be spread over the years). "Tremestieri Bus" will be in operation from Monday to Friday. In the afternoon the bus will be used by the elders of
Canalicchio and districts who want to get to the day center for senior citizens. Subsequently, the service will be studied in order to take advantage of many
of connections with buses direct to or from the Catania Etna villages. The
half - which will be headed by a municipal employee - may be useful on Saturday and Sunday to all those sports associations, cultural and voluntary
in the territory that request it.
